A ceramic relief wall, located on the second floor of the white marble stupa in Panlong Temple Scenic Area, North End of Heli Street, Funing County, Jiangsu, China, was designed by the monk Yanli, the abbot of this Buddhist temple, funded by Chang Hao from Nanjing, and created by Chen Jianping, a ceramic craft master from Dehua. Carved in Dehua porcelain wall pieces and seamlessly spliced together, the relief measures 291㎡ (181.9 m long × 1.6 m tall). Verified by the WRCA, it has been confirmed as the “Largest ceramic relief depicting the Legend of Buddha”.
