The three-person team “Polar Expedition” (Wan Qing, Ren Jingqiang, Xie Qijia), led by Wan Qing (Beijing, China), drove a Chinese-licensed vehicle departing from Taishet, Russia at 11:27 on 25 March 2025, and traveled along the Baikal –Amur Mainline (BAM). They arrived in Tynda, Russia, at 23:15 on 28 March 2025. The total travel time was 3 days, 11 hours, and 48 minutes, covering a total distance of 2,271 kilometers. Verified by the WRCA, the team successfully set the world record for the “Fastest Time to Drive a Single Vehicle Across the Baikal –Amur Mainline (BAM) Highway in Russia from Taishet to Tynda (team)”.
