Initiated by Shi Jianguo, Chairman of Hebei Qishi Education Group, and led by Cai Mishu and Zhang Xin, artists Ren Xiaoliang, Zhang Jianxue, Wang Yongping, and Zhao Shitong created a traditional Chinese landscape mural titled Magnificent Xinjiang, Splendid Motherland on the inner wall of Qishi School in Korla, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. The mural measures 888 meters in length and 5.5 meters in height. Verified by the WRCA, it has been confirmed as the “Longest Landscape Mural in Traditional Chinese Painting Style”.
