On September the 22nd, 2017, a challenge sponsored by Jiangxi Yongli Real Estate Co., Ltd. was performed. Students from Jiangxi Economic and Trade school took part in the challenge, with a total number of people registering for it surpassing the previous world record of 1645 participants.The World Record Certification Agency has done an on-site verification by official personnel and confirmed the world record for the most people performing push ups simultaneously.
