Lian Yunzhi (Chengdu, China, b. 2 December 2019) successfully solved a 3×3×3 Rubik’s Cube in 6.975 seconds at the Colorful Guizhou Irregular Cube Open Competition on 1 May 2025. Verified by the WRCA, Lian Yunzhi successfully broke the world record for the “Youngest Person to Solve a 3×3×3 Rubik’s Cube in 7 Seconds in a Rubik’s Cube Competition”.
