Lian Yunzhi (Chengdu, China, b. 2 December 2019) successfully solved a 3×3×3 Rubik’s Cube in 7.953 seconds at the Mianyang Youth Palace Rubik’s Cube Open Competition on 28 December 2024. Verified by the WRCA, Lian Yunzhi successfully broke the world record for the “Youngest Person to Solve a 3×3×3 Rubik’s Cube in 8 Seconds in a Rubik’s Cube Competition”.
