On December 17, 2024, the astronauts of the Shenzhou 19 crew worked closely together to successfully complete the 9-hour exit activity with the support of the space station robotic arm and ground scientific researchers. This exit activity once again broke the record for the duration of Chinese astronauts, breaking the “Longest Spacewalk” world record held by American astronauts for more than 20 years.
