Peng Guangbin from Wanzai, Jiangxi province in China spent 3 years, from 2006 to 2009, carving the famous painting  "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by Zhao Mengfu. He carved 48 plates all together. Each bamboo plate is 30 cm long and 10 cm wide, totaling at 4.8 meters in length. More than 960 figures have been carved, including more than 60 vehicles, 100 houses, 96 heads of livestock and 36 boats. The World Record Certification Agency has done an on-site verification by official personnel and confirmed the artwork as the world's largest  "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" bamboo carving.
